No real weeknote this week

I typically write my weeknotes on the weekend, and this weekend I’ve been busy with family matters and some work-related catch-up things. So while I would love to provide a real week note, I’m just going to openly fail this time and pick it up next week, when there’s a longer holiday weekend and maybe I can start to catch up. (Although I have some worries every weekend will be a mini-family-crisis for a while. I hope not, but… yeah. It’s not entirely in my power to control.)

I will say, however, that my next writing assignment is summarizing what our GX teams completed in the last 8 weeks (in what we call “GX+ Season 9“). Watch for that post over on the GX Foundry blog later this week.

Amidst everything else going on the last few weeks, this little masked bastard has been attacking our carefully-placed bird feeders for midnight snacks—and now he’s bold enough to do it in broad daylight! Somehow he learned to “surf” the tops of shrubs to get close enough to the feeders to launch his attacks. We’re now moving things around, trying to find “safe” spots for the feeders. Sheesh!
